And despite her growing love for Henry, ruler of the Underworld, he’s becoming ever more distant and secretive. Then, in the midst of Kate’s coronation, Henry is abducted by the only being powerful enough to kill him: the King of the Titans.

As the other gods prepare for a war that could end them all, it is up to Kate to save Henry from the depths of Tartarus. But in order to navigate the endless caverns of the Underworld, Kate must enlist the help of the one person who is the greatest threat to her future.Henry’s first wife, Persephone.

                                                           My Review:
It's been six months since Kate left Eden and her husband Henry that's their deal Kate stays for half a year in the winter by Henry's side helping him rule the Underworld and the other half she leaves and does anything she wants to do.Kate is expecting a warm welcome home when she returns to the palace that now belongs to her and her husband that she missed so much, but instead she stumbles into some kind of trouble that nobody seems to want to talk about and her reuniting with Henry could have turned a out a lot better than it did. Kate's  best friend James keeps telling her it's not to late to turn back and leave Henry and the Underworld. But if she leaves Henry would begin to fade and lose his thrown no one seems to understand that she wants to be there even if it seems Henry doesn't share the love she feels for him. Right in the middle of her coronation, Kate confronts the one thing the gods are afraid of  the one thing that can destroy them. Their creator, The King of the Titans. And Kate has never  been one to back down from a fight, and when Henry is captured and taken away from her she's determined that she will get him back. Even if it means asking for help from the one person she never wanted to meet.Henry's first love Persephone.

Through the whole book Kate was always second guessing herself if Henry would ever truly love her the way he did Persephone but I could not blame her personally I would probably do the same thing if I was in her shoes. I really liked getting to see  a new side of Henry that we didn't get to see in the first book that Persephone brought out it was very interesting finally getting to meet her at first she acted a little self consisted and bratty, but I guess anyone would act like that if they felt they were being replaced, but near the end I started to like her.I throughly enjoyed this book amazing plot and characters loved the major cliff hanger ending and now dying to get my hands on the third book in the series defiantly a must read series!
